Texas High School Basketball - Lifestyle Christian holds off High Island

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Lifestyle Christian Victors basketball team scored a close 51-46 triumph over the High Island Cardinals.
The Victors (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Austin Waldorf (Austin, TX). The Roadrunners go into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Leggett Pirates (Leggett, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 28 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. High Island will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 55-53 non-league win over Groveton (Groveton, TX).
