The Highmore/Harrold Pirates defeated the visiting Jones County Coyotes basketball squad by a final score of 47-29 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds (Wolsey, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 20. Highmore/Harrold will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Coyotes now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colome for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Jones County will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 56-17 non-league loss to Avon (Avon, SD). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-1.
