The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) and the host Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI), observed Hope's basketball team overwhelm Mount St. Charles Academy by a score of 72-50.

The Blue Wave (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Patrick Academy (Providence, RI). The Padres come into the Division 3 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Patrick Academy was routed by Toll Gate (Warwick, RI), 81-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mounties battle the Marianapolis Prep Golden Knights (Thompson, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Mount St. Charles Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
