In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting St. John Fighting Herald basketball team scored a good 65-57 win over the Horizon Science Academy Dragons.

The Fighting Herald (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Windham (Windham, OH). The Bombers come into the Northeastern contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Windham defeated Chalker (Southington, OH), 69-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Lake Ridge Academy Royals (North Ridgeville, OH) in a Lake Effect contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Horizon Science Academy will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Royals come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 70-29 non-league loss to Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH).
