The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH). The Tigers come into the Shelby County challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Jackson Center prevailed over Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH), 47-22, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the Tri-Village Patriots (New Madison, OH) in a Western Ohio challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Newton Local will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 76-49 non-league win over Talawanda (Oxford, OH).
