Montana High School Basketball - Lodge Grass holds off Poplar

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Lodge Grass Indians basketball team scored a close 71-66 triumph over the Poplar Indians.

The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Plenty Coups (Pryor, MT). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Plenty Coups nipped Two Eagle River (Pablo, MT), 80-63, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Indians confront the Harlem Wildcats (Harlem, MT) in a B District 2 contest, on Friday, December 20. Poplar will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
