Georgia High School Basketball - St. Andrew's nips Long County

December 14, 2024: Savannah, GA 31410

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host St. Andrew's Lions basketball team scored a close 45-40 win over the Long County Blue Tide.

The Lions (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Episcopal School of Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Episcopal School of Jacksonville was tipped by Fletcher (Neptune Beach, FL), 42-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Tide battle the Beach Bulldogs (Savannah, GA) in a AAA Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Long County will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 63-50 non-league loss to Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA).
