The Lund Mustangs basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Word of Life Christian Academy to 26 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host White Pine for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Lund will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 67-36 league loss to Needles (Needles, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Word of Life Christian Academy falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The travel to Sandy Valley (Sandy Valley, NV) to confront the Sidewinders in a 1A South game on Tuesday, January 14. The Sidewinders go into the game with a record of 1-2.
