California High School Basketball - McLane nudges Selma

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Selma Bears (Selma, CA), observed McLane's basketball team edge Selma by a score of 48-46.

The Highlanders now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tranquillity for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. McLane will play a Tigers team coming off a 61-30 non-league win over Alpaugh (Alpaugh, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Selma falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Hanford (Hanford, CA) to play the Bullpups in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Bullpups go into the game with a record of 4-2. Hanford won 71-52 in their recent non-league game against Hanford West (Hanford, CA)
