In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Medicine Lodge Indians basketball team scored a big 77-38 triumph over the Skyline Thunderbirds.

The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Anthony, KS). The Roadrunners go into the Central Plains contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Chaparral was trounced by Wellington (Wellington, KS), 73-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds confront the Kinsley Coyotes (Kinsley, KS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Skyline will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Coyotes go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 52-32 non-league loss to Bucklin (Bucklin, KS).
