Texas High School Basketball - Slaton knocks off Midland Christian

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Slaton Tigers basketball team scored a good 59-43 win over the Midland Christian Mustangs.
The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Wildcats come into the 3A Region I District 2 contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Littlefield defeated Panhandle (Panhandle, TX), 68-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Midland Christian will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 60-41 non-league win over Bowie (Arlington, TX).
