Arizona High School Basketball - Yuma Catholic nudges Palo Verde

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks (Yuma, AZ) and the visiting Palo Verde Titans (Tucson, AZ), observed Yuma Catholic's basketball team edge Palo Verde by a score of 47-44.

The Shamrocks (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Imperial (Imperial, CA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Imperial edged Brawley (Brawley, CA), 64-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Titans encounter the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Palo Verde will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record.
