The Prairiland Patriots basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Whitewright Tigers to 52 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the loss, Whitewright falls to 12-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Trenton (Trenton, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 2A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 6-10. Trenton lost 64-38 in their recent non-league game against Collinsville (Collinsville, TX)
