The Dougherty Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host Acalanes Dons to 49 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Hercules for a non-league game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Acalanes falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dons host Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to confront the Knights in a game on Monday, January 13. The Knights go into the game with a record of 3-5.
