In Saturday's league test, the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) basketball squad trounced the host Niles Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL), by a final score of 50-28.

Next, the Corsairs clash with the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 20. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Roadrunners come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 56-47 league loss to St. Patrick (Chicago, IL).

The Dons (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 9-1 record.
