The Lightning enter the battle with a record of 7-3. Sage Hill lost 60-49 in their recent non-league battle against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)

The Ascenders now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palm Bay for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. IMG Academy will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 61-60 non-league win over Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Pirates record now stands at 8-4.
