In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Bishop Ryan Lions basketball team scored a good 47-36 triumph over the Powers Lake/Burke Central .
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND). The Sioux go into the B District 6 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Westhope/Newburg was topped by Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND), 66-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the battle the Parshall Braves (Parshall, ND) in a B District 5 contest, on Monday, December 16. Powers Lake/Burke Central will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.
