The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Clifton-Clyde Eagles (Clyde, KS) and the visiting Chase County Bulldogs (Cottonwood Falls, KS), observed Clifton-Clyde's basketball team overcome Chase County by a score of 58-40.

The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS). The Blujays go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, St. John's/Tipton Catholic fell by Smith Center (Smith Center, KS), 40-38, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Chase County falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Wabaunsee (Alma, KS) to play the Chargers in a Flint Hills bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Wabaunsee 0-0 in their recent non-league bout against Northern Heights (Allen, KS)
