Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), 50-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Coolidge upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Colts travel to DuPont (Wilmington, DE) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Sunday, December 15. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-2. DuPont won 76-25 in their recent non-league match against Odessa (Townsend, DE)

The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goochland for a Jefferson match on Tuesday, December 17. Western Albemarle will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 43-13 league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
