The Pioneers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Mount Vernon prevailed over Anacortes (Anacortes, WA), 53-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles encounter the Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Wednesday, December 18. Ferndale will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 49-37 league loss to Bellingham (Bellingham, WA).
