Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball team edge the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), 39-37 in a non-league challenge.

The Skyhawks (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers come into the Kishwaukee River challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Plano was tipped by Marengo (Marengo, IL), 45-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) in a Northern Lake County challenge, on Friday, December 20. Grant Community will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
