The Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA) basketball edged the host Porterville Panthers (Porterville, CA), 35-28 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Morro Bay for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 26.
