Colorado High School Basketball - Kennedy overwhelms Thornton

The Kennedy Commanders basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Thornton Trojans to 29 in the Commanders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Commanders now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Littleton for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Kennedy will confront a Lions team coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Thornton falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Westminster (Westminster, CO) to confront the Wolves in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 3-3. Westminster lost 48-39 in their recent non-league game against Ponderosa (Parker, CO)
