In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Logan Chieftains basketball team scored a big 48-25 triumph over the Vinton County Vikings.
The Chieftains (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Reynoldsburg (Reynoldsburg, OH). The Raiders go into the Ohio Capital - Buckeye contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Reynoldsburg smashed Teays Valley (Ashville, OH), 55-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings confront the River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Ohio contest, on Monday, December 16. Vinton County will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 45-43 league loss to Alexander (Albany, OH).
