The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) and the visiting Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic (Flourtown, PA), observed Lower Merion's basketball team edge Mt. St. Joseph Academy by a score of 47-41.

The Aces (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridley (Folsom, PA). The Raiders come into the Central challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Ridley edged Sun Valley (Aston, PA), 44-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Magic encounter the Merion Mercy Academy Golden Bears (Merion Station, PA) in a Catholic Academies challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Mt. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 38-35 non-league loss to Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA).
