The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) and the host Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD), observed Lyman's basketball team overwhelm Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] by a score of 63-38.
The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Sully Buttes trounced North Central (Eureka, SD), 53-50, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Battlers encounter the Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Rustlers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 63-30 league win over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD).
