Next, the Lyons encounter the Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY) in a District 5 test, on Tuesday, December 17. Lyon County will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Rockets come into the test with a 5-0 record after their 55-38 league win over Livingston Central (Smithland, KY).

The Patriots (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Herrin (Herrin, IL). The Tigers come into the Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio test with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Herrin routed DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL), 47-44, in a non-league outing.
