With the victory, West Side advances its record to 19-2 on the year. The Eagles host Viola (Viola, AR) to face the Longhorns in a 1A Region 2 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 6-7.

The Lions now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoxie for a 3A Region 3 match on Monday, December 16. Manila will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 56-27 league loss to Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-8.
