In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Sturgeon Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 52-36 win over the Prairie Home Panthers.

The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Community (Laddonia, MO). The Trojans come into the Central contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Community defeated Slater (Slater, MO), 59-28, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Hermitage Hornets (Hermitage, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Prairie Home will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 49-32 league win over Humansville (Humansville, MO).
