West Virginia High School Basketball - Preston knocks off Riverside

December 14, 2024: Belle, WV 25015

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) and the host Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), observed Preston's basketball team overcome Riverside by a margin of 57-40.

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Milken (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Riverside will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 52-47 league win over Cabell Midland (Ona, WV).
