In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting White River Valley Wolverines basketball team scored a big 74-43 win over the Shoals Jug Rox.
The Wolverines (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN). The Cardinals come into the Southwestern Indiana contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Bloomfield was trounced by Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN), 58-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Jug Rox battle the Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Shoals will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Bluejackets come into the contest with a 1-11 record after their 58-13 league loss to Crawford County (Marengo, IN).
