The New Albany Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Big Walnut Golden Eagles to 40 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Central Crossing for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. New Albany will confront a Comets team coming off a 51-8 non-league loss to Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH). The Comets record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Big Walnut falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH) to confront the Wolves in a game on Friday, December 20. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 0-1.
