The Eastern Wayne Warriors basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Kinston Vikings to 29 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Clinton for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8.

With the loss, Kinston falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC) to confront the Gryphons in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Gryphons go into the game with a record of 2-0. Rocky Mount won 37-30 in their recent non-league game against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC)
