In Saturday's league contest, the host South Kingstown Rebels ice hockey team scored a close 4-2 victory over the Lincoln Lions.

The Rebels (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Chariho edged Rogers (Newport, RI), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Lions play the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) in a Division 2 contest, on Saturday, December 21. Lincoln will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Saints enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Rogers (Newport, RI).
