The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA) and the visiting Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA), observed Capuchino's basketball team overwhelm Fremont by a margin of 59-38.

The Mustangs (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Pinewood trounced More (San Jose, CA), 57-26, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Firebirds battle the Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Fremont will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 48-32 non-league loss to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA).
