Illinois High School Basketball - Cary-Grove holds off Marian Central Catholic

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans basketball team scored a close 54-50 triumph over the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes.
The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmot (Wilmot, WI). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Hurricanes confront the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Marian Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Conquerors go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 62-17 non-league win over Mooseheart (Mooseheart, IL).
