California High School Basketball - Ponderosa overwhelms Del Oro

December 14, 2024: Shingle Springs, CA 95682

The Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Del Oro Golden Eagles to 46 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bruins now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Nevada Union for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Ponderosa will confront a Miners team coming off a 67-42 non-league win over Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Miners record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Del Oro falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Timberwolves go into the game with a record of 3-3. Woodcreek lost 57-50 in their recent non-league game against St. Mary's (Stockton, CA)
