The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) and the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), observed Otay Ranch's basketball team overwhelm Grossmont by a score of 61-35.

The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA). The Tritons come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Preuss UCSD trounced O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA), 55-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Foothillers encounter the Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Grossmont will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
