The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) and the visiting Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA), observed Mineral County's basketball team overcome Lone Pine by a score of 71-56.

The Serpents (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Lone Pine will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
