The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) and the visiting Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY), observed Whitley County's basketball team overwhelm Marion County by a score of 60-39.

The Colonels (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Clay County trounced Bell County (Pineville, KY), 42-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Marion County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
