George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Pearl River Central Blue Devils (Carriere, MS), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, George County moves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, January 4. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 13-1.

The Blue Devils now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hattiesburg for a 6A Region 3 test on Tuesday, December 17. Pearl River Central will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 7-0 league loss to West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 3-8.
