The Jones Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Crane Medical Cougars to 42 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles West for a non-league contest on Monday, December 20. Jones will meet a Wolves team coming off a 96-46 league loss to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 3-6.

The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Little Village (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Little Village nudged Kelly (Chicago, IL), 31-29, in a non-league contest.
