The South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD), 69-41 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Seahawks (1-0) will now prepare for their test against North County (Glen Burnie, MD). The Knights go into the Anne Arundel County test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, North County was trounced by Great Mills (Great Mills, MD), 66-43, in a non-league test.
The Owls now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Carroll for a Carroll County test on Friday, December 17. Westminster will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 64-55 league loss to Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-2.
