With the victory, Payne Tech improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to University (Newark, NJ) to play the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. University lost 72-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ)
