Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA), 35-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Johnston (Johnston, IA) to play the Dragons in a Central Iowa Metro - West bout on Friday, December 16. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Johnston lost 63-60 in their recent non-league bout against Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA)

Next up, the Little Cyclones play the Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Ames will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
