The Worthing Colts (Houston, TX) basketball knocked off the host Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX), 71-62 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Colts (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Milby (Houston, TX). The Buffs go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Milby went down by Sterling (Houston, TX), 80-57, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sharpstown for a 5A Region III District 19 test on Monday, December 19. Austin will encounter a Apollos squad coming off a 82-69 non-league loss to Sterling (Houston, TX). The Apollos record now stands at 4-7.
