The Bloomfield Warhawks (Bloomfield, CT) basketball felled the visiting Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), 81-69 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Warhawks (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Warriors go into the Central Connecticut - North Patriot test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Windsor thwarted Conard (West Hartford, CT), 63-49, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Avon will meet a Eagles team coming off a 98-61 non-league win over Middletown (Middletown, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
