Michigan High School Basketball - Berkley tipped by Avondale

The Avondale Yellowjackets basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Berkley Bears to 66 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brandon for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Avondale will meet a Blackhawks team coming off a 64-55 league win over Clio (Clio, MI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-2.

The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cousino (Warren, MI). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Cousino nudged Mott (Warren, MI), 65-53, in a non-league contest.
