With the victory, Darien upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Blue Wave host Newtown (Newtown, CT) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Nighthawks come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Newtown lost 83-58 in their recent non-league bout against Wilton (Wilton, CT)

Next up, the Lions play the Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Bassick will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
