With the win, Bowen upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Boilermakers travel to Shepard (Palos Heights, IL) to clash with the Astros in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Astros go into the bout with a record of 3-7.

Next up, the Knights clash with the Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Goode STEM Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 38-34 league win over Excel Academy of Englewood (Chicago, IL).
